Throw your menu bar icons into a drawer. Pull them out when you need them.
Drawer adds a [ and a ] to your menu bar. Anything between them is in the drawer
Command-drag any icon between the brackets to put it away, or to the right of ] to keep it visible
Close the drawer and its icons disappear, leaving a small archive box. Click the box to bring them back
On a MacBook with a notch, Drawer tells you how many drawer icons fit beside it
Drawer reopens open or closed, just the way you left it
