Changed your mind? Unban restores their messages right back to your inbox.

No sender notification

Unlike unsubscribe, the sender has no idea. No awkward "you've been removed" emails.

How to Install

Sign up by emailing us

Use the sign-up link below to send us a quick email. We'll add you to the beta list.

We'll send you a direct install link

You'll receive a link to install Shadow Ban from the Chrome Web Store.

The extension is unlisted during beta, so you need the direct link to find it.

Authorize Shadow Ban with your Gmail account

Grant the extension permission to manage your filters and labels. All actions stay within your own Gmail account.

Open any email in Gmail

Once installed, open any email and you'll see Shadow Ban in the sidebar on the right side of Gmail.

Tap "Ban" on any sender you want to silence

That's it. Their current and future emails will be moved out of your inbox and into the "Unsubscribe" label, silently.
