Overview
Session Stash is designed with privacy as a core principle. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data externally.
Data Collection
Session Stash does not collect any data. Specifically:
- No browsing history is transmitted
- No tab URLs or titles are sent to external servers
- No analytics or tracking code is included
- No personal information is gathered
Local Storage
The extension uses your browser's local storage solely to remember the timestamp of your last save. This is used for the duplicate detection feature and never leaves your device.
Permissions
Session Stash requires the following browser permissions:
- Tabs - To read URLs and titles of open tabs for saving
- Bookmarks - To create folders and save your tabs as bookmarks
- Notifications - To confirm when tabs have been saved
- Storage - To store the last save timestamp locally
Third Parties
Session Stash does not share any data with third parties because no data is collected in the first place.
