Shadow Ban is a Gmail add-on that silently moves emails from specific senders out of your inbox. No awkward unsubscribe. No sender notification. Just peace and quiet.

Open any email, tap ban. That sender's messages silently move out of your inbox.

Automatic Filters

Gmail filters are created behind the scenes. Future emails skip your inbox automatically.

Unban Anytime

Changed your mind? Unban restores their messages right back to your inbox.

No Sender Notification

Unlike unsubscribe, the sender has no idea. No awkward "you've been removed" emails.

How to Install

After you sign up, we'll send you a direct link to install the add-on. Here's how it works.

Sign up by emailing us

Use the sign-up link below to send us a quick email. We'll add you to the beta list.

We'll send you a direct install link

You'll receive a link to install the Shadow Ban Gmail add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace.

The add-on is unlisted during beta, so you need the direct link to find it.

Authorize Shadow Ban with your Gmail account

Click the link and grant the add-on permission to manage your filters and labels. All actions stay within your own Gmail account.

Open any email in Gmail

Once installed, open any email and you'll see Shadow Ban in the sidebar on the right side of Gmail.

Tap "Ban" on any sender you want to silence

That's it. Their current and future emails will be moved out of your inbox and into the "Unsubscribe" label, silently.
